De Kite4Life Foundation has an ANBI status. ANBI is Dutch for Public Benefit Institution. You receive an ANBI status as a charity from the tax authorities. In order to be designated as an ANBI by the Tax and Customs Administration, the purpose and activities of the institution must serve the public interest. Furthermore, an ANBI may not have a profit motive and may not serve any private interest.
The big advantage is that you do not pay tax on donations to the Kite4Life Foundation. So every penny you give us really goes to the kitesurfing lessons of the (ex) cancer patients and their loved ones.

AIM:
Our aim is to teach (ex) cancer patients and their loved ones how to kitesurf and bring (back) feelings of hope, freedom and pride into their lives. To achieve this, we organize events and facilitate kitesurfing lessons in collaboration with various kite schools in the Netherlands.

Remuneration Policy:
The Kite4Life Foundation works as much as possible with volunteers. The directors of the Kite4Life Foundation receive no remuneration for their work. They are, however, entitled to reimbursement of the costs incurred by them in the performance of their duties.
